“Experience@Singapore: Engineering Research” is a programme run by Contact Singapore targeted at undergraduate and graduate students, granting them exposure to Singapore as a talent destination hub for research. The programme will begin with a week long study visit programme to orientate students to the various aspects of Singapore life followed by an internship project where students will get the opportunity to work alongside top researchers at one of A*STAR’s renowned research institutes.

Eligibility criteria
Eligibility
Applicants for internship must be international students in science and engineering related disciplines, who are either in their 3rd/4th year of undergraduate studies or doing their master studies.
Research attachment period for this programme is 8-10 weeks.
Expected start date of the internship programme is in early July.
At the end of the internship, interns must submit a 2-page report on their research experience in A*STAR.
   
Award Terms
A monthly stipend of between SG$600 - SG$1000, depending on year of study and qualifications, will be provided.
Co-funding of airfare subject to a maximum of SG $700.
Accommodation and other additional allowance will not be provided.
